Oh, we’re on right now!
How old are you?
I am 13 years young
Where did your name come from?
Dad says from a book called Tess of the d’Urbervilles
How did you come to your forever home?
Mom & Dad wanted a kitten and a vet in town said she had barn cats. They came to the barn and she showed them a box of kittens but instead, they chose me. I just happened to run on top of Dad’s feet trying to scamper across the barn floor. The lady said “Don’t you want one of these?” and Dad said, NO, I want her (me). It was meant to be, me thinks!
Do you have any fursiblings? If so how many? If not, why not?
I am an only child and I hear I’m very spoiled but I don’t think so. They ask me every once in awhile if I want a sib and I tell them NO NO NO. So they don’t.
Do you get to go outside?
Never. Well, I did have a leash once and they tried to take me on walks but I laugh at them and say NO NO NO. I notice I say no a lot. MOL
What is your favorite thing to do?
Sit with Daddy after breakfast and watch SportsCenter on TV.
I saw you were going to write a book, is it going to be fiction or non-fiction?
It’s Fiction from a human point of view but cats will recognize the truth of it. If you know what I mean.
Is your mom going to help?
Look, she’s basically writing the thing but she couldn’t do it without me because I tell her what to write. Plus, the book is about ME and all cats and out secret world.
What would you like people to know about you?
I love being brushed almost more than anything – except my Dad. I love my dad so much that Mom says it embarrasses everyone. I will follow him anywhere. Mom is okay, too, especially if I’m afraid (she gives good hugs and I love to relax with her) and obviously to help with the book. But if I had my way, I think I would live with Dad in my closet with my favorite blanky and my mousie and that one catnip thing I love… forever. I have also recently discovered that I can walk behind our washer and beg to go in the laundry room all the time cuz it’s mysterious back there and I haven’t seen everything I need to see yet.
